The Smart Reader® English
Programme is a complete and systematic
programme with the objective of helping
children to read well from a young age.
It applies the phonetic method. A great
number of kindergartens throughout West
and East Malaysia have adopted this
programme with great success. It is
feasable for the lower, middle and upper
income groups. The Smart
Reader® English Programme has
also received support from Phillipines,
Thailand, Brunei, Taiwan, and
Syria. The programme comes in
10 comprehensive levels and one introductory
level for babies.
Exclusiveness
We at Smart Reader®
Worldwide Sdn Bhd would like to
maintain the exclusiveness of this programme. Hence,
the Smart Reader®
English Programme is not available
for sale to the public. It is only available
at designated private schools, nurseries/kindergartens,
tutorial centres, language centres etc.
Teachers’ Training
The Smart Reader®
Teachers’ Training comprises
of training sessions conducted by Smart
Reader® Worldwide Sdn Bhd for
individuals who are interested to teach
any of the Smart
Reader®
Programmes. The monthly sessions
conducted is part of the requirement for
subscribing to the Programme so as to maintain
the standard of the said Programme.
Attending the training session is the initial
step individuals have to take as part of
its implementation process. The Teacher’s
Training Programme has 10 levels which are
divided into 6 sessions. Each session will
cover two levels as in Levels 1 & 2,
Levels 3 & 4, Levels 5 & 6, Advanced
Grammar Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4 respectively.
The duration of each session is 2 days on
weekends.
